Supernatural/Paranormal stories are characterized by including beings and phenomena that are outside the realm of normal scientific understanding of the natural world. They often revolve around creatures that have been popularized by folklore, fairy tales, and popular culture such as fairies, vampires, shapeshifters, zombies, ghosts, demons, angels, sirens, mermaids, or furies.
