My name is O'Neal Richard and this is my 27th year as a Special Education teacher. I am very excited to be starting my fourth year as an SLC teacher here at LME. I believe that a classroom should be a safe caring community where students can grow mentally, emotionally and socially. This school year I will strive to bring warmth, diligence, and consistency to our classroom to inspire these traits in my students.

Some Background: I was born and raised in Church Point Louisiana, a small Cajun town near Lafayette. I graduated from St. Joseph Seminary College in Covington Louisiana. I went on to receive my teaching certification from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. My partner and I moved here from New Orleans in 2019 and currently reside in Santa Rita Ranch. During my free time I enjoy hiking, cooking, movies and spending time exploring Austin with friends.
