Grading Policy

Major Projects (65%)

There will be between 2-3 major projects every six weeks. Students will have adequate time to complete projects in class. If they are unable to complete the project by the deadline they may attend tutorials before or after school to complete the assignment.

Warm Ups, Sketchbooks, and Participation (35%)

Warm up exercises and rough draft drawings will be completed in sketchbooks. Participation grades will be given for small in class assignments and student’s effort during in class working time.

Late Work:

Students will be given plenty of time to work on projects during class, however, if more time is needed they may set up time to work outside of class time during morning or afternoon tutorials. Students must turn in assignments/ major projects before the end of the grading period in order to receive full credit.
