In 1990 I received my Bachelor of Science Degree from Corpus Christi State University, which is now Texas A&M University Corpus Christi (TAMUCC). I have been teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade science since 1990.

I have been married to my wonderful husband for 34 years. I have a 29-year old daughter, a 28-year old son, a daughter-in-law, a grandson, and a 20-year old daughter. We have two 3-year old rescued cats, Ivory and B.C. and a 6-year old rescued dog, Lucy. I love reading, spending time with family, watching movies, learning about essential oils, and traveling.
