There’s no better way to honor your senior than with a senior recognition ad in the 2020 Excalibur -- our 10th Anniversary Yearbook! You can make their yearbook unique and memorable, and help continue a CRHS tradition by purchasing a recognition ad for your daughter or son -- or your club, team or business.
Ads are a visible and long-lasting way to showcase photos of your daughter or son from their early years right through senior year. Space is available for personalized messages from parents, siblings and family members to congratulate your senior and tell them how proud you are. Everybody likes the convenience of paying with a credit card online, and now all Excalibur ad sales have shifted over to the web.
To buy a senior ad, go www.balfour.com, search for Cedar Ridge High School in Round Rock and that will take you to our “home page” within Balfour. There you’ll find an icon to purchase a yearbook and another link on the left hand side to purchase a senior ad. Just click on the ad link, select the size you want, enter in your information and you’re done. (Remember, Balfour is a national company and there are several Cedar Ridge High Schools across the country, so make sure you've selected Round Rock.)
Once you have purchased a senior ad, we will contact you using the email address you provide to start the ball rolling to get photos and text from you for the ad. Please use an email address you check frequently. We’ll design the ad, then send you a proof to review. We’ll make any changes you want and keep tweaking the ad until it’s perfect and ready to publish in the 2020 Excalibur.
DEADLINES & PRICING
The ad deadlines and pricing are listed in the chart to the right. For the best pricing, purchase your ad and submit all photos BEFORE December 31st, 2019. You can still purchase an ad in January 2020, but the price jumps up. Why? To encourage parents to purchase their ads and submit all the photos early so the yearbook staff has enough time to do an amazing job designing your senior ad and still meet our final March deadline.
HERE IS THE STEP-BY-STEP FOR SENIOR ADS
1.) Purchase your ad online and choose the size ad you want. You can pay online with credit or debit card. 2.) We will contact you via email shortly after you purchase your senior ad. So when you purchase your ad on www.balfour.com, please use an email address you check frequently. 3.) Select photos you want in your ad. 4.) Select the text you want in your ad. You can use Biblical quotes, famous quotes, lyrics, or original poetry or prose for your recognition ad. 5.) As soon as you purchase your ad and we have contacted you, please start sending your photos and text to us. Attach photos to as many emails as it takes. 6.) If you are using old photos that need to be scanned, get them to us here in room D116 and we'll scan them for you. 7.) Remember, you can buy a student recognition ad together with your friends or teammates. 8.) The Excalibur staff designs and creates your recognition ad right here at Cedar Ridge. We incorporate design elements from the yearbook for a clean, consistent look. Parents are welcome to do their own design, or have a graphic designer do the work. We will provide all the specs. 9.) The absolute final deadline to purchase an ad is January 31th, 2020. 10.) The final deadline to submit all photos and text for senior ads is February 5th, 2020. (Our final yearbook deadline is March 13, 2020 -- the day before spring break -- so we need time to create your senior ad.)
