Known Apps and Extensions That May Conflict with Don Johnston Universal Products

Previously Installed but Not Showing in Extension Bar

1)Make sure you're logged in and sync is turned on. If sync is disabled by Administrator, please contact SPED ITS.

2)Go to Chrome Menu (3 dots in top right)>More Tools>Extensions. Make sure the slider for the extension is turned ON.

Icon Extension Colors

Orange Dot = Thinking/Processing

Red Dot = Verifying

Purple = On

Gray = Off

Turn Off Number Choice in Word Prediction Bubble

If you want to type the number “1” it will default to inserting the word listed in the 1: position.

To turn off number selections, click on the > next to the word prediction list. Then click on > to enable number selections again if needed.

Delete Note

• House Icon>Trash Can Icon>Select the note you want to delete

Disable Spell Check

• Click on the purple Co:Writer cloud icon. (Purple=On, Black=Off)
• Go to Dictionary Icon>Flexible Spelling>Off
• Also, Right Click in note>Spell Check and uncheck “Check the spelling of text fields” (This turns off red underline misspelled words)

Disable Word Prediction

• Click on the purple Co:Writer cloud icon. (Purple=On, Black=Off)
• Go to Dictionary Icon>Turn Off all dictionaries

Disable Speech Recognition

• Turn off Internet -OR-
• Go into your Chrome Settings
• Go to Settings
• Scroll down and select "Show advanced settings..."
• Under Privacy, select "Content settings..."
• Scroll down to Microphone
• Select "Do not allow sites to access your microphone"
• Select “Manage exceptions...”
• Delete all exceptions
• Click "Done"
