About the Teacher –

I have been teaching math now for over twenty years as a graduate from the University of Texas with a bachelors degrees in Mathematics. In my time I have found that ANY child that chooses to succeed, can, and usually will. Making that choice as a teenager can often seem difficult. I am so excited to be a part of the McNeil AVID curriculum and the opportunities I will have to help students reach their potential. I look forward to this great challenge. Every day promises to be new and interesting.

It is my goal to help each student become a confident, free-thinking, problem solver. Our world is changing constantly, but problem solving will always be a necessity. Consistent hard work, organization, bravery and creativity are the keys to success in life. Should students embrace this concept, success will certainly be in the future.
