Special Education Department

We are the Special Education Team at Caldwell Heights Elementary for the 2021-2022 school year!

In Round Rock ISD we take great pride in our programs for our students with special needs.  Our district has five classrooms designed to meet the needs of our students with a variety of eligibilities and needs. On our campus we have four of these self contained classrooms: Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE), Functional Learning Classroom (FLC), Functional Academic Classroom (FAC) and Functional Communication Classroom (FCC). We also use our Resource Classrooms to service students with a variety of learning and emotional needs. 

Our special education goal for this school year is to increase inclusion opportunities and enhance social skills for all students within the SPED department. At Caldwell Heights we embrace differences and promote compassion and kindness in every action we take.
