Meet the Teachers

Mrs. Kloesel

Welcome Cheetahs,

I’m so excited to be your teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. It will be an amazing year, and I cannot wait to get to know you and your family.

I grew up in Corpus Christi where I attended Tuloso Midway ISD. I was always active in sports... cheerleading, basketball, and golf.

I graduated from Southwest Texas University in 2000, now known as Texas State.

This year is my 25th year teaching, 21st year in 4th, and 10th year at Chandler Oaks. My husband, Jason, and I will be celebrating 20 years of marriage this October. We have two boys… an 18-year-old, Colten, and a 10- year-old, Walker. Colten will be attending Texas State University, and Walker will be in 5th grade at Rancho Sienna in Liberty Hill. We also have a dog named Raley. We enjoy hanging out together, being outdoors, and playing sports.

Mrs. Penn

Howdy!

I am looking forward to a new school year. This is my 5th year at Chandler Oaks and you should know I LOVE being a teacher! I can't wait to see what this new year will bring and to meet the members of our 2024-2025 class. I hope you are as excited as me! If you're not, you will be...just give me some time.

I was born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky where I began my college career at the University of Kentucky. I moved to Athens, Georgia, and continued my education at Piedmont University. It was there that I earned my Masters in Early Childhood Education. This will be my 16th year as an educator, and I have loved every minute! In my free time, I love to work with clay, read, swim, and go adventuring in nature with my family.

My husband, Collin, is excited to be back in Texas after 16 years away. We have 3 children who are Chandler Oaks Cheetahs: Charlee Elizabeth (5th grade), Maisie Grace (2nd grade), and my son, Levi, who is now attending Walsh Middle School (7th grade).

MS. DAVISON

Hi Cheetahs!

I am so happy to be your teacher this year! This is going to be an amazing school year!

I grew up in Salina, Kansas and moved to Texas in 2021. I enjoy doing makeup, creating t-shirts, and matching movies.

I graduated from Wichita State University in 2011, and I received my Masters Degree from Baker University in Curriculum and Instruction in 2018.

This is my 13th year teaching, and my fourth year at Chandler Oaks Elementary. I have one daughter, Aubrey. She will be in 6th grade at Walsh Middle School. We love to spend time together and create memories.

MRS. Clendenin

Hello fellow Cheetahs! I am so very excited to be your 4th grade teacher. It’s going to be a great year working together to learn and grow!

I grew up part of a military family, so I've lived all over the United States. I had the most fun living along the Florida Gulf Coast beaches. I attended college in New York City at The New School, where I studied ballet. I love to dance! I earned my Masters Degree in education from Texas State University and have taught fourth grade for 15 years.

I have been married to my wonderful husband, Jay, for 10 years. Our sweet son, Owen, is 9 years old. He is very excited to be a fourth grader at Chandler Oaks this year.

With Jay and Owen, I enjoy taking road trips to small towns in Texas, attending Round Rock Express games, and being outside. We also love to shower our three-year-old puppy, Molly, with lots of love. I also love reading, practicing yoga, roller skating, and finding new restaurants to enjoy.

It's going to be a great year, and I can't wait to learn all about you and your family too.
