I have worked in the field of education/higher education since 2001, and began teaching in 2013. My primary focus has been in special education and science; including: low incidence disabilities, non- and semi-verbal students, science co-teaching and inclusion, inclusion support, and behavior intervention. My degree is in History and Geology from Texas State.
Outside of school I focus on family time, pets, creating art, reading, music, gaming (board and various platforms), and planned travel destinations. I also like exploring how food, movement, and pressure points all work together to manage and contribute to a person's overall health; it is fascinating how much of this is all interrelated.
