About Me

A little bit about me...

I was born in Louisiana, but moved to Texas when I was 6 and grew up in Houston. I moved to Austin for my undergraduate degree which I was awarded from the University of Texas in Applied Learning and Development. After teaching at Brushy Creek for three years, I moved to Round Rock. I then decided to also pursue a Master's Degree in Special Education from Texas Tech University which I completed in the spring of 2014.

My husband, Cody, is currently studying to obtain his real estate license. We have two AMAZING sons. Augustus is five in kindergarten here at Brushy Creek. Remington turns one at the end of September and attends Texas Spanish Academy in downtown Round Rock. We also have two dogs and a cat; so it’s a full house!

In my "spare" time I love to make quilts and sew with my mom, read and relax in the backyard, and of course spend time with Augustus, Remington and Cody. This is my 12th year at Brushy Creek and my 5th teaching 3rd grade. I know this year is going to be fantastic and I am super excited for it to begin!!
