Google & Gmail

Round Rock ISD is a Google Apps for Education (GAFE) District

This means that every student in Round Rock ISD has their own Google Accounts, which includes Gmail and Google Drive with restrictions:

• Students can only email teachers within Round Rock ISD.
• Students cannot receive or compose emails to/from anyone outside of RRISD
• Students cannot email each other. The email will automatically be blocked.
• Students do not have access to Google's social networks: Google+ or Google Hangouts
• There are filters for searches done through Google when they are at school.
• Students are monitored when using technology at school.
