Late/Absent Work

If a student is absent, it is his/her responsibility to get the work that is missed. They should see all their teachers the day they get back from an absence. Ideally, if an absence is known about ahead of time, please let your teachers know so they can give you the missed assignments before you leave.

Students will have the same number of days they were gone to turn in the makeup work. If you are out for more than 2 days, We suggest you contact us so we can leave work in the Parent Center for pick up. If a student misses an assignment, he/she will be expected to take it when all makeup work is done.

If a student fails to turn in an assignment on time, CVMS late policy is:

-a 20 point penalty for turning in 1 day late.

-After that , there will be an additional 5 points taken off for each day. After 3 weeks, the work will not be accepted for any credit.
