📶 User Tip: If you take your laptop home, please restart the machine on campus, so you have full functionality.
Before sending a student down for tech help, please try these three simple steps first.
1) Hard reset - press and hold the power button and the refresh button. The refresh button is on the top row, 4th from the left.
2) Clear the cache - Here are the instructions:
Open a Chrome browser.
Select the three dots at the top right of the page.
Select “more tools.”
Select “clear browsing data.”
Make sure the boxes are checked and select “All Time” from the drop-down menu.
Click on “Clear Data.”
Then restart your computer.
3) Make sure the student is on the RRISD network. If not, restart the Chromebook and have the student sign in.

Please attempt to reset student passwords before sending them to ITS. Video above & Instructions. Students will be able to reset their password themselves using the password reset kiosk in the bookmarked RRISD folder.
