Meet the Librarians!

Librarian, Ms. Amy Palermo: 

Ms. Palermo has been a librarian in Round Rock ISD for 12 years. Before that, she taught kinder through sixth grades and served as a Special Education teacher. In her spare time, she loves to read, hike, listen to live music, and travel!

Favorite teacher: Mr. Chase because he was funny and inspired us to be creative!

Favorite book: When you Reach Me by Rebecca Stead

Library Assistant, Mrs. Sharon McCright: 

Mrs. McCright grew up in Austin and has served as the Library Assistant Callison for 3 years and at Bluebonnet Elementary for eight years.

Favorite teacher: Ms. Matthews because she was like a grandmother and would give big hugs every day.

Favorite book: Old Yeller by Fred Gibson
