About Mrs. Jones

Welcome to 3rd grade! I'm so excited to be your child's teacher this year!

I have been a part of the Cactus Ranch community for over 17 years. First as a parent and volunteer, then as a substitute, and finally as a full-time teacher. This is my eleventh year teaching, and my seventh year at Cactus Ranch.

I was born and raised in Texas. I have lived in the Round Rock area for over 27 years(with a few small stops in Colorado and China). I graduated from Texas A&M University. Whoop!

I have been married to my husband, Marc, for 26 years. We have two wonderful children. Our daughter, Caitlin, graduated from UT, and is now attending grad school at The University of North Texas in Denton. Our son, Tyler, finished school in Round Rock, and is on to his next adventure. We also have two dogs, Shadow and Finn.

We are going to have a great year of learning and growing! I can't wait for us to get started!
