Getting To Know Mrs. Bursey

I was born in Texarkana, Arkansas. I have 3 grown children and 5 grand children. I moved to RoundRock in 1994 from Atsugi, Japan with my husband Major.

I hold a Bachelor degree and Masters degree in Early Childhood Curriculum and Instruction. I have been involved in teaching and education for 34 years. My educational roles have been pre k teacher, kindergarten teacher, long term substitute teacher, education coordinator, and intervention teacher.

Outside of teaching I enjoy spending time with my husband and family. I love reading, going to concerts and sporting events. Hook-em Horns!

Teaching young children is what I have always desired to do. I look forward to enjoying your children and watching them bloom throughout the school year.
