Meet the Teacher

Kristine Hanzlik

I am the music teacher at Brushy Creek Elementary.  I have a Bachelor's of Music Education degree from Baylor University, and certifications in both Orff and Kodaly music pedagogy methods.  This is my twenty-third year to teach elementary music, and my eleventh year here at Brushy Creek.   I graduated from Round Rock High School in 1995 and love sharing music in the school district that gave me a great start.

 I live in Round Rock with my husband and two sons.  In my spare time I like to garden, play my flute, and spend time with my family.  I believe music is a gift and a joy, and I am honored to share it with children.
