About Ms. Brekke

2024-2025 marks my 13th year of teaching!  This is my ninth year at Round Rock High School.  I can't wait to dive into Computer Science with my students.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at the University of Arizona.  When I graduated, I worked in software engineering at IBM in Austin for a decade or so, before returning to school to study more math.  After earning my Master's of Education in Mathematics from Texas State University, I began teaching.  

In my free time I make quilts and travel.  My family owns a cabin on Rainy Lake in northern Minnesota.  I love spending time there in the summer!  I visit with family, swim in the lake, and enjoy the cooler weather.
