Gateway To Technology

Hello. I have been a teacher at Cedar Valley Middle School since 1997 and this year will begin my seventh teaching Gateway to Jaguars. Before Gateway I have taught Industrial Technology, Technology Education, Career Portals, General Construction Trades and Industrial Arts. Before I became a teacher I worked for Foster Wheeler Engineering, Gulf States Utilities, TexasUS Chemicals and Temple-Eastex.

I enjoy spending my day working with students in the Gateway lab and can't imagine doing anything else. Everyday students ask me new questions and everyday I get to be challenged to find the answers. My favorite thing about teaching is being able to watch a student suddenly "get it"!

I'm married, have a twenty seven year old daughter, and share a house with two, three year old, black cats that have never wanted to go outside since the day they adopted us.
