- Interpretation Book Clubs: Analyzing Themes
- Tacking Complexity: Moving up Levels of Nonfiction
- Author Study: Reading Like a Fan
- Argument and Advocacy: Researching Debatable Issues
- Learning Through Reading: Westward Expansion, American Revolution, etc.
- Fantasy Book Clubs: The Magic of Themes and Symbols
Students adding their input to our social contract. To build our social contract, we asked the following questions: How do you want to be treated by your classmates? How do you want to be treated by Mrs. B.? How do you think Mrs. B. wants to be treated? How will we treat one another when there is a conflict.
