Cell Phones/Electronic Devices

There will be designated times when students will be allowed to use their phones.
If the student refuses to comply with the class policy, their phone will be taken up and turned into A212 assistant principals office where it can be picked up after school for a possible fee of $15-$20.

Grade Categories: 21-22

Adv/TAG Biology:

40% Major (Mostly tests/may include projects)

35% Minor (May include quizzes, labs & projects)

25% Daily (May include daily participation, activities in class & test reviews)

Biology:

40% Major (Mostly tests/my include projects)

30% Minor (May include quizzes, labs & projects)

30% Daily (May include daily participation, activities in class & test reviews)

Academic Dishonesty

Late work/Re-tests

Daily work: All daily work assigned during the CURRENT unit can be turned in without penalty up until the unit test. After the test- the highest grade is a 75.

Quizzes: If you fail a quiz, you will need to earn a 70 or higher on the unit test to replace your failed quiz grade.

Tests: If you fail a test, you must FLEX in to my class to re-take a failed test. The highest score you can earn is 75. If you earn less than a 75, then that will be your grade. ex. You retest and earn a 85. You will receive a 75. You re-test and earn a 72- you will have a 72 in the gradebook for your re-test.
