About Mrs. Griffin

Meet Mrs. Griffin:  

I am so thrilled to be a special education teacher this year at Herrington Elementary. It is going to be full of new adventures, growing relationships, and exciting opportunities. This will be my sixth year teaching at Herrington Elementary. I previously taught in Killeen, TX before coming to Round Rock. Through my experience teaching, I have worked with pre-kindergarten all the way through 5th grade. I really enjoy working with children and love to see them grow throughout the year!  

I was raised in a small town in Texas and then moved to College Station where I attend Texas A&M University. There, I received an early childhood through 6th grade certification as well as an ESL certification. Post-college, I received my TAG and SPED certification. 

While in college, I worked at a summer camp where I met my husband. We got married in June of 2017. We love to travel and explore the outdoors together. We also enjoy golfing, cooking, swimming, and spending time with family. Our first baby boy, Asher, will be 3 in October and our second baby boy, Emmett, will be 1 in August. We love having two little boys!
