Students studying the violin will be learning to play using the "Suzuki Method and Philosophy". The Suzuki Method is a philosophy of teaching created by Dr. Shinichi Suzuki, who believed that all children have the talent to learn if taught by loving and encouraging teachers and parents. The Suzuki Strings Teacher at Berkman upholds the teaching philosophy of Dr. Suzuki and will be guiding their students with these teaching principals.
