Grading

Grading Scale:

K-2

X (No Assessment)– Students have not engaged in activity or participated for appropriate assessment.

LM (Limited Progress) – Performs most skills with frequent errors, or needs direct guidance.

AS (Approaching Standard) – Performs skills with occasional errors using most critical cues.

MS (Met Standard) – Consistently performs skills independently and uses critical cues.

3rd-5th

NG (No Grade)- Students have not engaged in activity or participated for appropriate assessment.

U (Unsatisfactory)- Does not demonstrate skills or use critical cues, thus performing below grade level. No participation.

N (Needs Improvement)- Performs most skills with frequent errors, or needs guidance, thus needing improvement. Minimal participation.

S (Satisfactory)- Performs skills independently  with occasional errors using most critical cues, meeting grade level expectations. Consistent participation.

E (Excellent)- Consistently performs skills independently and uses critical cues, exceeding grade level expectations.
