Policies

Grading Policies:

• In order to receive full credit, assignments MUST be submitted by the due date. Ten points will be taken off for every school day after the due date. After three days, work will not be accepted.
• You are required to bring your binder and other AVID materials to class everyday. Binder Checks, Note checks, and Agenda checks may not be made up. Tutorial Request Forms MUST be completed before class and will be counted late if they are not ready for tutorials. Make-up work will be completed outside of class. Work DUE during an absence must be turned-in “On the next day the student returns to school, not the next day the class period meets!

Homework:

• Homework will be assigned based on unit necessity.
• TRF's for Tutorial days are considered recurring homework. Students are expected to complete one a week outside of class for full credit on the assignment. Absences the previous class day before tutorials do not excuse students from coming to class with a completed TRF as this assignment is known a week in advance. (Excepts may be make for serious illness or family emergencies.)
