AVID III

About the Teacher:

• I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in December of 2013 with a B.A. in Government. I become a teacher through the UTeach program at this university. I have taught World Geography, World History, U.S. History, Government, AP U.S. Government, Economics, AVID II, and AVID III.

Looking at the Future:

• In AVID, we teach students the skills to needed to excel in a rigorous fast-paced university environment. We understand that students must balance advance high school courses, college courses, work, and family life. We aim to help students understand and prioritize their daily tasks to maximize their time. With the future in mind, I'd like to share that I am currently enrolled in Texas State University. I gained admission to the Educational Leadership with Principal Certification Master of Education program. Everyday, I strive to improve myself in order to better serve our students.
