I am seeing a “spinning” or loading icon and cannot register:
If you are experiencing registration issues it may be due to high levels of traffic. This is common during the first few days of registration. If you have already created a plan, have added sections to your plan, and still cannot register please try to 1) sign out of Self Service and try again, 2) sign in to Self Service with either a different web browser or your current browser in “private” or “incognito” mode, or 3) try to sign in at a different time, as traffic may have subsided. As always if you run into any issues you can contact the Student Help Desk (helpdesk@austincc.edu) or our virtual Registration Stations (reg-station@austincc.edu) for assistance.
All high school graduates must take and pass 5 EOC exams ( English I, English II, Biology, Algebra and U. S. History). Students that take the ACC US History must also take the EOC exam. The state mandates the window of time the test is offered. Typically students who take the 1st Summer Term ACC course ( June) will take the exam at the end of June/early July. Students who take the 2nd Term ACC History course will take the exam in December. It is important that students take this test seriously and save their notes to review if they must wait until December. Students will be emailed information regarding the June/ December test in their RRISD student account or you may contact the Westwood Testing Coordinator.
