Welcome Wildcats!
It is a pleasure to have you in my classroom! I am very excited to get to know each one of you this year.
This is my eighth year here at Walsh. However I have taught Middle School Math for the past 14 years, mostly working with 8th grade math. Therefore, I look forward to grow together with you in teaching 6th grade math.
I believe that education is the key to success for all students, and any child that chooses to succeed, can, and usually will. Making that choice as a teenager can often seem difficult. I do promise that when that decision is made, I will be there ready to help. I love being an educator because I enjoy finding solutions to challenges and helping others find success. I want the educational experience of each of my students to consist of relevant and meaningful learning that they can apply to their daily lives. I believe that the best ways to accomplish this are through the use of hands-on activities, an integrated curriculum, cooperative learning, and whenever possible, technology.
Please feel free to contact me at any time with questions, comments or concerns. I can be reached by phone; however, the best way to reach me is via email. I look forward to working with you throughout the year.

Go Wildcats!
Hi there! This will be my 3rd year here at Walsh! Thirteen years ago I reentered the work force when I began teaching 5th grade at Chandler Oaks Elementary. I loved my time there however, it was always my plan to move to middle school. My three children attended Walsh and so I know what a great school it is!
My oldest child is Caroline. She is 26 years old & graduated from Baylor Law School (Sic'em!) one year ago. She is now a lawyer in Dallas. I have two sons, David is 24 and just graduated from A&M with an electrical engineering degree. He is living in San Antonio. Michael, is 22 years old, he is in the electrical engineering program at A&M too. Gig ‘em!
Chris, my husband, has his own software company and works mainly from home. We have a cat and two little dogs. As a family we enjoy skiing in the winter with our kids. My husband and I love to travel when we can! We've been to Italy, Mexico, and several countries in Northern Europe.
I enjoy music, especially classic jazz. I like reading, gardening, watching birds and doing projects around the house. And I love spending time with my family and friends.
Super happy to be here and so looking forward to a wonderful 6th grade year! Feel free to to reach out to me through email or phone anytime you have a question or concern.

Hello Wildcats!
I am so excited to be teaching 6th grade math at Walsh! This will be my first year at Walsh but my 6th year to teach 6th grade math, and my 15th year of teaching.
I was born and raised in Austin. I graduated from Concordia University at Austin, then earned my Masters Degree from Texas A&M University.
My husband and I live in Pflugerville and have two children. Our daughter, Ryann is 13 and our son, Karsen is 10. They keep us busy on nights and weekends with their sports activities.
If I'm not at school, I am hanging out with my family, probably watching some sort of sporting event. Our favorite things are cheering on the Texas Longhorn Volleyball team, the Fightin' Texas Aggies, and most of all cheering for our kids while they play their sports.
I am so happy to be a Walsh Wildcat and can not wait to have a great year with you!!!
