This school year, students will be exploring and investigating 21st-century skills within the context of science education. Students will learn through a variety of activities with a strong emphasis on inquiry-based learning. Our class will engage in 60% of labs and projects working individually, in pairs, or in groups.
6th Grade Science is the entry course into an integrated and spiraling middle school science curriculum. In this grade level, students will examine the basic principles of physical science, earth science, and biological science while actively engaging in labs and activities that will enhance their curiosity for learning.

It is the student's responsibility to bring a fully charged laptop and their charging cord to class every day. Please bring earphones or earbuds too!
Science Class Lab Donations
Our classes engage in 60% labs and sometimes will be asking for some lab donations such as, but not limited to, marshmallows, salt, matches, or plates.
We appreciate any and all donations that help with our consumable lab supplies! Please understand this is NOT an obligation or an expectation for students and their families.
