All About Ms. Vega
Hello! I can’t wait to have you in our classroom. I have been a teacher for 4 years. I taught 6th grade and then made the switch to 4th grade last year. I love my FNE community.
I’ve lived in the Austin area almost my whole life, my parents moved here when I was 3 from El Paso, Texas and we’ve stayed here ever since! My boyfriend and I love to travel, especially if we can bring the cats along for the trip. This summer I attended a class to learn Spanish, took a trip to Seattle to climb Mount Rainer and kayaked with kids with disabilities. I love to read and this year I challenged myself to read 100 books.
I am extremely excited to start this new career here with you and your students and I can’t wait to see what this year brings us.
