I am so proud to be a part of the Talented and Gifted Program and Round Rock ISD has one of the best around! After becoming a University of Texas graduate I began working for Leander ISD as a third-grade teacher. I taught in LISD for 10 years before leaving the classroom to become a stay at home mom. After two years home with my little ones I began substitute teaching in both LISD and Round Rock ISD. I had the opportunity to work at COE as a long term substitute in first grade. I became a COE Cheetah the following year and taught 2nd grade for 3 years. This is my third year as one of the TAG specialist. I absolutely love learning, and I am excited to continue my education journey with TAG Cheetahs.
On a personal level, my husband Cody and I have three children, Lucas a 6th grader at Walsh Middle School, my daughter Cameron who is a 4th grader and my son William who is a 2nd grader at COE. Our family loves spending time outdoors camping, swimming and enjoying nature. I also enjoy cooking, shopping and reading.
Please feel free to contact me at Andrea_Acuff@roundrockisd.org. I look forward to meeting and working with all of you, as well as continuing to learn with your students!

It is an honor to work at Chandler Oaks Elementary in the Talented and Gifted Program. Although I am new to Round Rock, I have enjoyed living in Texas for over seven years. I have had the privilege of teaching in both public and private schools over the years, and also was an adjunct professor at Pepperdine University for over 10 years. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from Pepperdine University and my Masters Of Arts in Teaching from Chapman University. I believe teaching and learning are two of the greatest experiences life has to offer, and I am thrilled to be sharing this journey with our students.
My husband Steve and I have a daughter Julia who is married to Matthew, and our son Nolan who will soon be marrying Abby. Our family loves to travel, play games and to spend time outdoors. Bee keeping is one of my favorite hobbies, but I also love to read, listen to podcasts and walk our dog Maya every day.
Always feel free to reach out to me through email at kimberlee_rodriguez@roundrockisd.org . I look forward to every day with your students and hope to meet each and every one of you throughout the year.
