Hello! I am excited for an interesting school year at Cedar Ridge and I hope you are as well.
A little bit about myself, I am a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin. I earned my degree in Interior Design, as well as, my Interior Design Registration with the State of Texas Architectural Board. I enjoyed a first career working in Design and Architecture and now am loving my second career as a Teacher. I took many classes in Human Ecology including: Textiles & Apparel, Nutrition, Food Science, Personal & Family Finance, and Child Development which has given me a great background for the type of classes that I teach.
Recently, I have taken two courses at UT covering sewing construction and pattern-making. It was thrilling to be back in Gearing Hall and the class was chocked full of great information and hands on experience!
I love my job and I hope your students will equally enjoy my class!
