Plug in your charger and check the indicator light on the left side. It should light up to red, orange or green.
Red: Battery is completely dead - let it charge for 10 minutes before you try anything else
Orange: Battery is low and is charging
Green: Battery is completely charged
If you see the indicator light turn on (any color) that means your charger is working.
Check your charger.
Look along the cords and make sure they aren't frayed or broken.
Check to make sure the two pieces are completely connected. (See images above.)
Try a different outlet or the other charging port.
Plug your chromebook charger into a different outlet and try again.
There are two charging ports on the chromebook, one on each side. If one side does not work, try the other side.
If you have checked all of the items listed above and your chromebook still won't charge, try to turn it on in Recovery Mode. The problem could be the chromebook and not the charger.
