Board Game & LEGO Builders Club
Join us after school for a hands-on, imagination-powered club that combines the fun of board games with the creativity of LEGO building! In this interactive program, students will rotate between strategic board games and collaborative LEGO challenges, developing problem-solving skills, teamwork, and creative thinking along the way. Whether they’re planning their next move in a fast-paced game, teaming up to tackle a challenge, or building their own LEGO creations, students will practice thinking critically, communicating clearly, and enjoying a little friendly competition. This club offers a great mix of strategy and creativity.
Butter Lane Workshop
This after-school program invites students in grades 3–5 to explore construction, gardening, and problem-solving through hands-on, collaborative projects shaped by their own interests and ideas. Together, students will help determine the focus of their work—whether that’s designing and building garden beds, reimagining farm spaces, or identifying meaningful campus improvements they want to tackle. Along the way, they will develop practical skills such as measuring, hammering, sawing, planning, and planting, while deepening their understanding of sustainability and the real-world impact of their efforts.
Blending creativity, agency, and real-world learning, this program empowers students to experiment with tools, dig into gardening, and collaborate on projects that matter to them. Whether planting new crops, constructing a structure, or problem-solving side by side with friends, participants will build confidence, perseverance, and teamwork skills. Each session will leave them feeling ownership over what they’ve created—and excited to imagine what they might build next.
Chess with Master Ulysses Tapley!
Dive into the exciting world of chess with our after-school program led by expert Ulysses Tapley. It's more than just chess; it's a training ground for critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Studies show chess boosts cognitive abilities, memory, concentration, and logical thinking. Our curriculum covers tactics, strategy, and endgame skills, enhancing both brainpower and social skills. Chess: Advanced (Invitation Only)
By invitation, select students are invited to deepen their study of chess in this advanced training cohort led by Master Ulysses Tapley. Designed for experienced players who demonstrate strong foundational skills and strategic readiness, this program moves beyond basics into high-level tactics, positional play, opening theory, and complex endgame study.
Students will analyze master games, refine calculation and visualization skills, and engage in competitive match play with detailed feedback. Emphasis is placed not only on strategic depth, but also on focus, resilience, disciplined thinking, and sportsmanship. This is a rigorous and intellectually challenging environment intended for players ready to stretch their abilities and elevate their game. We look forward to continuing this advanced journey with a committed group of dedicated chess scholars.
Gymnastics and Tumbling
Our tumbling classes focus on the fundamentals of gymnastics, incorporating a mix of exercises, challenges, and games to build both physical and mental strength. Techniques are honed through consistent practice, aiming to show children their inherent strength and resilience in a sport they love. We encourage exploring different movement styles to find one that resonates with each child, enhancing confidence and instilling values like dedication and perseverance.
Fashion Design
In Fashion Design Club, students explore their creativity through sewing and design. From sketching ideas to stitching fabrics, members will learn the basics of fashion construction while creating their own unique pieces. This hands-on club encourages self-expression, collaboration, and confidence as students bring their style visions to life.
Jewelry Making Club
The Youth Jewelry Making Club is a creative, hands-on program where students can express their personal style while learning fun and practical design skills. Participants will explore different jewelry-making techniques such as beading, wire wrapping, charms, and bracelet/necklace design.
Learning Circles
Learning Circles is an after-school program designed to support young learners with homework completion, foundational skills, and enrichment activities in a small-group setting.
Mathletes & Coding: Future Innovators
This dynamic after-school program is tailored for advanced students with a keen interest in mathematics and computer science. Designed for students in Grades 3–5, this program is also open to younger students with acumen in mathematics and a passion for STEAM learning. Participants are prepared for competitive success in the Mathletes competitions and the VEX Robotics challenges. Through rigorous instruction and practical, hands-on activities, students will enhance their mathematical reasoning and coding abilities, equipping them for excellence in these exciting competitions and beyond.
Multisport
Elevate your child's athletic journey with Ross School's dynamic multisport programs! Tailored for budding athletes, our curriculum blends individual prowess and team dynamics, spanning soccer and a variety of field games. Participants will dive into the essential rules and techniques of each sport. We focus on fun, skillful play, fostering teamwork and sportsmanship through engaging games and scrimmages. Join us for an exciting adventure in sports where every child shines!
Music Expression Session
The “Expression Session” is a dynamic music program designed to guide young musicians as they explore the power of music and creativity. Through interactive sessions that blend storytelling with hands-on activities, children engage in music-making using percussion instruments, chant rhythms, and dance with silk fairies, enriching their understanding and expression of love and peace. Highlighting the profound impact of their creations, children share how their music has touched lives, reinforcing the theme of unity and the belief that music can truly unite the world. This program is a celebration of creativity and communal harmony, inspiring young minds to become ambassadors of peace.
Our Fabulous Variety Show: Spring Tap Dance Workshop at OFVS Studio
Join us for a joyful and inspiring spring dance experience! Dancers learn choreography, build confidence, and develop rhythm and performance skills in a fun and supportive environment. This workshop is a wonderful opportunity for students to grow as performers while making new friends and experiencing the excitement of preparing for a live show. Throughout the session, dancers will work together toward a polished final performance, gaining teamwork skills, stage presence, and a true love for dance along the way.
Please note: This program will be held at the OFVS Studio at 44 Meadow Way in East Hampton. Transportation provided to studio. Parents will be responsible for picking students up from the studio.

This program offers more than just dance instruction; it's a complete performance experience that allows each child to shine on stage and feel proud of their accomplishments. We can’t wait to see our dancers light up the stage this spring!
Painting
Enroll your child in our dynamic Painting Studio, where young artists will explore technique, style, and creative expression through hands-on work with paint. Guided by an experienced instructor, students will experiment with watercolor, acrylic, and mixed media while drawing inspiration from artists such as Georgia O’Keeffe, Van Gogh, Alma Thomas, and Kehinde Wiley.
Through focused lessons in color mixing, brushwork, composition, light, and texture, students will build technical skill alongside confidence and artistic voice. Each session encourages imagination, thoughtful risk-taking, and joyful exploration as students create landscapes, portraits, abstract works, and personal projects. Join us for a vibrant journey into the world of painting, and watch your child’s creativity take shape on canvas.
Run Club
Run Club is a fun and energetic after-school program where students build endurance, strength, and confidence through running. Each session includes warm-ups, running games, and distance challenges designed to improve fitness while making running enjoyable. The club promotes teamwork, goal-setting, and a lifelong love of staying active.
Study Skills
Our after-school Study Skills program is designed specifically for students in Grades 3–5. In this program, families work closely with our committed faculty to help their children develop essential academic and executive functioning skills. Students participating in the Study Skills program receive focused attention and support aimed at cultivating key study habits and organizational skills vital to their academic success.
Co-Ed Soccer
Our Youth Soccer Skills Program provides a comprehensive foundation in soccer techniques, game understanding, and teamwork for young players. Designed for both beginners and intermediate players, the program focuses on skill development through structured drills, enhancing game understanding with strategies and tactics, and promoting teamwork and sportsmanship. Tailored for different age groups, weekly sessions are led by experienced coaches and include small-sided games to apply learned skills in a game-like setting. Our program aims to develop skilled athletes while fostering character and a lifelong love of the game.
Girls Lacrosse
Join our Youth Lacrosse Skills Class and take your game to the next level! Designed for players of all skill levels, this class focuses on developing fundamental lacrosse techniques, including passing, shooting, dodging, and defense. Through fun drills and game-like scenarios, players will improve their coordination, teamwork, and lacrosse IQ while building confidence on the field. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, this class is the perfect way to elevate your play!
Little League: Coach Pitch
Welcome to Ross Ravens Coach-Pitched Baseball! (coed)! Our Coach-Pitched Baseball program is designed to introduce young players to the fundamentals of baseball in a fun, encouraging, and supportive environment. The focus is on teaching key skills like hitting, fielding, running bases, and teamwork while helping kids develop a love for the game. We’ll guide players through the basics, build their confidence, and make sure they enjoy every step of the learning process. We’re excited to help your child grow as both an athlete and a teammate this season with the Ross Ravens!
