Australian Mathematics Competition

The Australian Mathematics Competition is held every year in August. For 2024, it will be on Wednesday 7th August. It is held during school time, during Period 3 & 4.

Year 7 = 60 minutes

Year 8 to 13 = 75 minutes

It consists of 25 multiple-choice questions and 5 integer answer questions, with a total of 30 questions.

The competition costs $8AUD. Details of how to pay will be sent out to the caregivers for students that sign up for the competition. An email will go out to students and parents/caregivers closer to the time of the competition.

Years & Divisions

Year 7 = Upper Primary Division

Year 8 & 9 = Junior Division

Year 10 & 11 = Intermediate Division

Year 12 & 13 = Senior Division
