Academic Support

At Rosmini College, we have a vast library of academic support available to all our students, from Years 7 - 13. These range from after-school, before-school, and Lunch time support activities. The goal of these sessions are to boost the academic confidence and ability of our students to ensure substantial NCEA pass rates and Merit/Excellence endorsement rates.

Lunchtime Academic Support

Academic Leader, Niko Snell, and other Prefects are running this initiative where they are making themselves available during lunchtimes to provide academic support for students from all year levels in different core subject areas. They hope that students will seek academic support by choosing to attend the lunchtime sessions in the classrooms indicated above.

Lunchtime MCAT Support

Year 13 and Year 12 students offer academic support to Year 11 students whilst they prepare for their NCEA MCAT examination in early September. There are 5-10 mentors present at each sessions that revise algebra skills to answer question, and test the students later on by solving MCAT past papers.

Scholarship Timetable

Rosmini College offer over 10 different NZQA subject scholarships. These classes are often held after-school, before-school or during lunchtimes. The Academic Leader put together this timetable to help students in years 13 &12 be made aware of when their scholarship of choice is run.

Homework Club

Our amazing Young Vinnie's group are available after-school Thursday's in our school library to help students with their homework, or with general topic revision for an upcoming examination!
