Meet the production team for Mary Poppins! This dedicated group of individuals is here to help our awesome cast make this into a quality production...and to have a wonderful time in the process!
Tyler (he/him) is a theater artist, producer, director, administrator, and teacher who knows how to get things done, connect people, and lead adventures. He is the Executive Director of 825 Arts, and founder of the non-profit Dangerous Productions. He believes that participation in theater is a critical part of learning to be in community, and is thrilled to be back at Rosetown Playhouse again this summer. When he isn’t creating art or leading change, Tyler enjoys outdoor adventures, music, theater, and time with his wife Amy, daughter Thora, and dog Marigold.
Margot (she/her) has spent her career making music and making theatre with young and old. As a music teacher, choir director, theatre director, and over-all organizer, she wants everyone to have a wonderful experience AND be the best that they can be at what they are doing! She has a way of seeing a theatre production in a way which includes many more people and an incredible talent for making everyone feel important and special. She is wide open to suggestions and willing to take chances. Don’t miss a chance to be a part of a show with Margot and the rest of this great production team!
Kaitlen Osburn (she/her) is a theater artist and arts administrator who wears many hats. Production highlights from her career include an original devised tragedy; an election night hullabaloo; and, shockingly, a recent high school production of Cats. Kaitlen has authored over 30 plays for youth, a full-length musical, and is currently the Drama Program Director at Roseville Area High School. She has an MFA in Ensemble-Devised Theater from Dell’Arte International School of Physical Theater and has studied clowning, bouffon, improv, puppetry, and commedia all around the nation. She is passionate about native plants, food, sustainability, and really enjoys playing kickball.
Jamie (she/her) is a freelance collaborative pianist, organist, teacher, vocal coach, and musical director in the Twin Cities area and the Director of Music at Sacred Heart Church in Robbinsdale, MN. Jamie has a passion for learning and strives to continually improve her own playing as well as her methods and styles of teaching. She received her Masters of Music-Collaborative Piano degree from UW-Milwaukee under Jeffry Peterson and her BA in music and accounting from Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa. She is so excited to once again be joining the community that is Rosetown Playhouse!
Madi (she/they) is a Twin Cities-based performer, choreographer, and teaching artist. Madi is a graduate of Lindenwood University where she received her BFA in Musical Theatre. During the day, Madi works as a special education teaching assistant with Saint Paul Public Schools. She also works as a teaching artist and choreographer for Lyric Arts, Youth Performance Company, and Graceful Monsters ETC. She is especially passionate about working with neurodivergent youth, arts advocacy, and how to make theatre more accessible for everyone. Madi is pumped to be back at Rosetown this summer after choreographing Beauty and the Beast in 2024!
Tom (he/him) has been involved with Rosetown Playhouse since being in middle school back in the year 2000! In particular, summer is a time of great Rosetown memories (even the wacky years in the tent!), being with Rosetown friends, and a source of fun for Tom. He is a licensed elementary school teacher, and currently works for Minneapolis Public Schools where he serves as a School Improvement Specialist. Tom is looking forward to again supporting the Rosetown Playhouse community this summer as the Stage Manager for Mary Poppins!
Jessica (she/her) has been involved with Rosetown since 2009 when she first moved to MN. Rosetown is where she found her Minnesota family and felt at home - she keeps coming back for the community and connection! Jessica has worn many hats at Rosetown, and is excited to be the production manager for Mary Poppins. Join us for a fun-fill summer where everyone can find a moment to shine!
