Production Team

Meet the production team for Beauty & The Beast!  This dedicated group of individuals is here to help our awesome cast (that could be you!!!) make this into a quality production...and to have a wonderful time in the process!

Margot Olsen, Co-Director

Margot has spent her career making music and making theatre with young and old.  As a music teacher, choir director, theatre director, and over-all organizer, she wants everyone to have a wonderful experience AND be the best that they can be at what they are doing!  She has a way of seeing a theatre production in a way which includes many more people and an incredible talent for making everyone feel important and special.  She is wide open to suggestions and willing to take chances.  Don’t miss a chance to be a part of a show with Margot and the rest of this great production team!

Tyler Olsen-Highness, Co-Director

Tyler Olsen-Highness is a theater artist, producer, director, administrator, and teacher who knows how to get things done, connect people, and lead adventures. He is the Executive Director of the Victoria Theater Arts Center, and founder of the non-profit Dangerous Productions. He believes that participation in theater is a critical part of learning to be in community, and is thrilled to be back at Rosetown Playhouse again this summer,  When he isn’t creating art or leading change, Tyler enjoys outdoor adventures, music, theater, and time with his wife Amy, daughter Thora, and dog Marigold.

Jamie Schmidt, Music Director

Jamie Schmidt is a freelance collaborative pianist, organist, teacher, vocal coach, and musical director in the Twin Cities area.  Jamie has a passion for learning and strives to continually improve her own playing as well as her methods and styles of teaching.  She received her Masters of Music-Collaborative Piano degree from UW-Milwaukee under Jeffry Peterson and her BA in music and accounting from Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa.  She is so excited to once again be joining the community that is Rosetown Playhouse!

Tom Krueger, Stage Manager

Tom has been involved with Rosetown Playhouse since being in middle school back in the year 2000!  In particular, summer is a time of great Rosetown memories, traditions, and fun to come for Tom. He is a licensed elementary school teacher, and currently works for Minneapolis Public Schools where he serves as a School Improvement Specialist.  Tom is looking forward to again supporting the Rosetown Playhouse community this summer as the Stage Manager for Beauty & The Beast!

Jessica Gunzburger, Production Manager

Jessica has been involved with Rosetown since 2009 when she first moved to MN.  Rosetown is where she found her Minnesota family and felt at home.  She values the community aspect of  Rosetown, and how everyone can find a place and feel welcome.  She stage managed shows until 2022 and is excited to be formally involved again this year as production manager this year for Beauty & the Beast

Madi Nelson, Choreographer

Madi (she/they) is a Twin Cities-based performer, choreographer, and teaching artist. Madi is a recent grad of Lindenwood University where she received her BFA in Musical Theatre with minors in Dance and Dance Studio Management. At Lindenwood, she focused her studies on neurodivergent youth in theatre, arts advocacy, and how to make theatre more accessible for everyone. Madi has worked as a teaching artist and choreographer at Lyric Arts, Youth Performance Company, Irondale High School, Fridley Community Theatre, and St. Anthony Community Theatre. She is pumped to be working with Rosetown for the first time this summer, and she is thrilled to be working on BATB since it is one of her dream shows!
