How long have you been a librarian?
This is my second year as Eastwood's librarian and my eighth year at Eastwood.
What was your favorite book as a child?
I remember reading Amelia Bedelia and Frog and Toad a lot as a child. But my favorite children's book then and is still my favorite even today is If you Give a Mouse a Cookie.
What is your favorite book now?
I love the book The Engineer's Wife by Tracey Enerson Wood. My favorite genre is historical fiction.
What do you like to do when you are not in the library?
I relax and spend time with my family.

How long have you been a librarian?
This is my first year in an Elementary Setting so a lot of newness to me. I was a Middle School Librarian for three years which mostly entailed teaching keyboarding and administering state testing.
What was your favorite book as a child?
As a child I liked The Story About Ping and Bread and Jam for Francis.
What is your favorite book now?
I enjoy reading books now that touch my heart or improve my life. I enjoyed the book Heaven is for Real, The Four Agreements, Boundaries and the Stolen Life to name a few.
What to you like to do when you are not in the library? When not in the library I love spending time with my many children. I still have a 14 year old daughter at home who is amazing and a volleyball player, so I spend a lot of time watching in awe of her growth as a person. I have two grandsons who we steal every chance we get and a granddaughter on the way in December! I enjoy traveling, hiking, boating, and always experiencing new things.

I didn't have a favorite book but I loved Judy Blume.
What is your favorite book now?
My favorite children's book now is A Snicker of Magic by Natalie Lloyd.
What do you like to do when you are not in the library?
I like relaxing with my friends and family and hanging out with my doggos!

What do you like to do when you are not in the library?
I enjoying spending time with my family (husband and 4 daughters). I enjoy baking and cake decorating along with traveling.

How long have you been a librarian?
This is my first year as a librarian but I have been in the schools for a while. I have worked in many schools as a substitute teacher, a couple years as a TOSA at Fullerton and my career started as a third and first grade teacher. I am loving this new adventure!
What was your favorite book as a child?
I really loved The Rainbow Fish as a child. Other favorites were the Baby-Sitters Club and the American Girls series. Oh and you can't forget Where's Waldo!
What is your favorite book now?
My go-to books at this point of my life are cookbooks and children’s books that I read to my kids. When I have time on my hands I tend to pick up a Nicholas Sparks book and I always end up crying.
What do you like to do when you are not in the library?
You will find me running my two kids around to their sports games and practices most nights and weekends. I love watching them play something they love! My hobbies outside of my work and kids are crafting and fiddling around the kitchen. My husband and I also enjoy home improvement projects when we get the chance.

Helping to build cars with my dad, for example a Gambler 500. Participating in cart shows and clean ups.

I began in 1999 and subbed 3 years prior.
What was your favorite book as a child?
Amelia Bedilia books; The Secret Garden and Heidi
What is your favorite book now?
I read 1-2 books a week, so it's hard to choose 1 favorite book, but my favorite Genres are Historical Fiction and Biographies and my favorite Authors right now are Gordon Korman and Stuart Gibbs.
What do you like to do when you are not in the library?
Being creative in various ways, like crafting, sewing and painting. I've been quilting for 28 years and average 2 quilts a year. I also like cooking and playing board games with my family as often as I can.
