PRIVACY POLICY
1. Information stored on your device
Your exercise entries, sets, repetitions, food and drink entries, Monkey Points, streaks, onboarding status, and progress history are stored locally on your device. Becoming Monkey does not currently provide user accounts, cloud backup, friend sharing, or remote storage for these records. We do not receive your local workout, food, or habit entries. Deleting the app generally removes them, subject to your device’s backup settings.
2. Subscription information
Becoming Monkey uses Apple’s App Store or Google Play to process purchases and RevenueCat to verify subscription access. These services may process purchase history, transaction receipts or tokens, an anonymous app-user identifier, device type, operating system, app version, locale, currency, and subscription timestamps. This information is used to unlock paid access, restore purchases, prevent fraud, provide support, and understand subscription performance. We do not receive your full payment-card number.
3. Support communications
If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send, including your email address, message, and attachments. We use it to answer your request, troubleshoot problems, protect the service, and meet legal obligations. Please do not send passwords, sensitive medical information, or full payment-card numbers.
4. Sharing and sale
We do not sell personal information and we do not use advertising trackers. Information may be handled by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, website hosting, and support providers as needed to operate the app; when required by law; or to protect users and the service.
5. Retention and deletion
Local app records remain on your device until you delete the app or clear its data. Support messages are retained only as reasonably needed to respond, prevent abuse, maintain records, and comply with law.
To request deletion of RevenueCat customer data or support messages, email hello@roomto.rest with the subject “Becoming Monkey Data Deletion.” State that you want your data deleted and include the anonymous app-user ID shown by the app if support asks for it. We may request information needed to locate and verify the record. Apple and Google may retain transaction records under their own legal and accounting duties.
6. Security, children, and rights
We use reasonable safeguards, but no system is completely secure. Becoming Monkey is intended for adults and is not directed to children. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of certain personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Email hello@roomto.rest to make a request.
7. Policy changes and contact
We may update this policy as the app changes. The current version and effective date will appear here.

TERMS OF USE
1. Agreement and eligibility
By downloading, purchasing, or using Becoming Monkey, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. You must be at least 18 years old to use Becoming Monkey.
2. What the app provides
Becoming Monkey is a fitness-habit tool for recording food and drink choices, bodyweight exercises, repetitions, sets, streaks, and progress. Features, exercises, points, content, and availability may change as the app improves.
3. Fitness safety
Becoming Monkey provides general fitness and habit information only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, physical therapy, or a substitute for qualified care. Exercise carries a risk of injury. Use suitable equipment and supervision, choose movements appropriate for your ability, and stop if you feel pain, dizziness, or illness. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting or changing an exercise program if you have a medical condition, injury, are pregnant, or have safety concerns.
4. Subscription, trial, and renewal
The mobile app requires an active subscription after any eligible introductory trial. Plans are currently $4.99 per week, $9.99 per month, or $59.99 per year in the United States. Local prices and currencies may vary. The purchase screen shows the actual price and billing period before confirmation.
If offered and eligible, the three-day free trial automatically converts to the selected paid plan unless canceled before the trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same billing period until canceled. Apple or Google charges the store account used for purchase.
5. Canceling, managing, restoring, and refunds
Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. Manage or cancel through the store used to subscribe:

Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Use Restore Purchases in the app if access is missing. Apple and Google process payments and decide refunds under their policies.
6. Local records
Habit and progress records are stored locally and are not synced to an account. Removing the app or losing the device may permanently remove them. Restoring a subscription does not restore local workout or food history.
7. License and acceptable use
You receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for lawful personal use. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, commercially exploit, reverse engineer, interfere with, or bypass the app’s subscriptions or security, except where law expressly permits it.
8. Ownership and third-party services
The app, brand, design, text, graphics, and progression system are owned by or licensed to Becoming Monkey and protected by law. Apple, Google, RevenueCat, Expo, and hosting providers have their own terms and policies.
9. Availability, disclaimers, and liability
The service may be updated, suspended, or discontinued for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or product changes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a promise of uninterrupted operation or a particular fitness result. Nothing limits rights that cannot legally be waived. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Becoming Monkey is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, lost profits, or injuries from unsafe exercise choices.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as the service changes. The current version and effective date will appear here. Questions may be sent to hello@roomto.rest.
SUPPORT
What does the subscription unlock?
An active subscription unlocks the complete mobile app: daily exercise and food logs, Monkey Points, workout tiers, streaks, achievements, and journal views for day, week, month, year, and lifetime.
How do I restore a purchase?
Open Becoming Monkey and tap Restore Purchases. Sign in to the same Apple or Google account used for the original purchase.
Where is my progress?
Workout, food, drink, streak, and points history stays locally on your device. There is no Becoming Monkey account or cloud sync yet. Deleting the app may permanently delete that history.
How do I cancel?
Uninstalling does not cancel billing. Use the Apple or Google subscription-management links above.
How do I request deletion?
Email hello@roomto.rest with the subject “Becoming Monkey Data Deletion.” Ask us to delete RevenueCat customer data and any support messages associated with you. We will explain any records that Apple or Google must retain.

Email hello@roomto.rest. Include your device type and a short description of what happened. Never send a password, full payment-card number, or sensitive medical information.
