RMS Bulldogs (students and parents), we hope that you are safe and sound during this Coronavirus Season, Even with this drastic life change, our collective purpose at RMS is to provide a safe, orderly, and nurturing virtual learning environment to ensure that all students achieve academic success. This plan outlines how our students can stay connected with every instructional department for the remainder of this school year. We are excited to resume a consistent school work flow for our students. Please follow the chart below and use as a checklist to stay on task. Each Core Content & Elective Department will provide student work for two instructional days weekly and be available to troubleshoot questions on the actual instructional days/Office Hours. If more assistance is needed, please reach out to the teacher directly through email.

• At least 3 people will be available virtually and/or at the school (if necessary) Monday-Thursday from 10:00 AM-2:30 PM.

• Mr. Henry, Mrs. Rodriguez, & a counselor (Monday & Wednesday)

• Mr. Parker, Mrs. Moore, & a counselor (Tuesday & Thursday)

• Mr. Henry & Mr. Parker are available daily.

Romulus Middle School has a non-emergency support line to assist our students and families during COVID-19 school closures. We want to help in supporting your emotional needs & wellness during this unprecedented time. This service is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If your student is experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, including suicidal ideation, please call 911. For services, you may call & leave a message at (734) 532-1644, Monday - Friday. Calls from a trained professional school counselor will be returned between the hours of 9:00 AM and Noon (Monday-Friday). When using the call line, please be aware that the rules of confidentiality will apply.

We will host School-wide Town Hall Meetings for staff, students, and parents on May 1st, May 22nd, and June 5th at 9:00 AM on each date. We will use Google Hangouts Meet for these meetings. The meeting link will be emailed to all students from their teachers and also available on Romulus Middle School’s Facebook Page.
