Our Mission
2023 GCSE results
The class of 2022 has excelled itself and Romsey's students have achieved some remarkable outcomes this summer, despite all the challenges that the pandemic has thrown their way. Notwithstanding the last three years of turbulence, our students' grades compared very favourably with previous years.
77% of the year group gained English Language OR English Literature and Maths at Grade 4 or above
50% of the cohort gained Grade 5 or higher in the same subjects.
5 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above (including English and Maths) stands at 72%.
The school's core vision of 'Aspire' and thus 'going further than others might think is possible' has come to the fore over the last two years;
Each year we usually have a quarter of all students gained at least five GCSEs at Grade 7 or above
Around half of students gain at least one GCSE at Grade 7
Mrs Eagle, Headteacher, said, “We would like to congratulate all our students; it is a testament to their resilience, hard work and determination that they have defied the odds and performed so well. Our youngsters' support team across the community also deserve recognition; congratulations and a heartfelt thank you to all parents, wider families, teachers, and support staff for your steadfast efforts throughout these difficult years.”
