• Principal investigator and manager of intensive turbidity monitoring study to assess the effects of dam removal on water quality in the Sandy River, OR.

• Principal investigator and manager of total dissolved gas monitoring study to assess the effects of hydroelectric dam operations on water quality in the Willamette River, OR.

• Watershed analysis module leader for fish habitat, channel process, and water quality studies to evaluate the consequences of forest management on aquatic resources, northern California.  

• Co-investigator of a hydroacoustic and mark-recapture fish population monitoring program and evaluation of impacts from operation of hydroelectric project in Southeast Alaska.

• Performed annual fish population, benthic invertebrate, and water quality monitoring program for NPDES permit requirements in several streams located within a gold mining operation in Southeast Alaska.  

• Conducted juvenile salmonid outmigration study to evaluate population status for a FERC hydroelectric license request in Southeast, Alaska.
