Proposed Itinerary

Dates: Thursday September 17 - Monday, October 5, 2019 (School Holidays)

Budapest - thermal baths, Jewish Synagogue and Holocaust memorial, Cold War museums and food markets

Vienna - Church of St Charles, Schönbrunn Palace, Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna, Opera

Berlin - Nazi Berlin sites and memorials, the Berlin Wall - including tour of the underground escape routes, Museum Island, Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp

Athens - sites of Ancient Greece, including: Parthenon, Agora, Temple of Nike, Olympia and Delphi

Crete - Palace of Knossos, Cooking class, Greek Island life

Interested, but not a senior history student?

This tour has relevance to students of tourism, geography, senior art, study of religion, literature, senior drama and senior music. If you are interested, please join us!

Then attend the meeting on Wednesday November 13, and/or the parent evening on Wednesday November 20.

We are seeking to confirm numbers and take deposits by the end of the school year.

Student information session

Please attend a meeting at first break in C34 on Wednesday 13th November. Bring your lunch and head straight to the meeting to collect a letter outlining dates and costings.

Parent Information evening

An information evening for parents will be held in the Shalom College Staff Common Room on Wednesday 20th November at 5.45pm.
