The Learning Express is a free, voluntary, year-round program provided by the Regional Office of Education #3 and funded by the Early Childhood Division of the Illinois State Board of Education.
We serve families in the 5-county ROE #3 Region.
Following the Parents as Teachers Affiliate model, our PAT Certified Parent Educators strive to support you to be your child's first and most important teacher.

In-home visits
Weekly personal visit in your home (or virtual) can begin when you are expecting and continue until your child turns 3 years old
Learn developmentally appropriate activities for you and your child to do together
Work together with your parent educator to set and meet goals
Prepare and transition your child to a 3-5 year old program

Group Connections
Monthly group connection meetings offer educational activities, family fun, and opportunity to learn about resources in the community

Free developmental screenings using ASQ3 and ASQ-SE2.
