Montana Maulher

Montana Maulher, Maulher for short, started officiating in 2016 while attending graduate school at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and now serves as a non-skating official with Denver Roller Derby. In the past 3 years she has racked up almost 200 sanctioned/regulation games, worked multiple tournaments, and was selected as a post season official this past fall. If you’ve ever worked with Maulher you know she’s an overly energetic human who pays attention to the details. She is excited to be serving as the Tournament Head Non-Skating Official for Besterns 2019 and we feel lucky to have her leadership joining our team for this event!

Nacho

THSO

Nacho became involved in roller derby in Washington State in 2010 before moving to New Mexico in 2011. She made the move from full-time team skater to official in March 2016 when she attended a WFTDA clinic in Denver, Colorado and was hooked. She has been a part of the Southwest Regional officiating community for the last two years with an emphasis on training new officials in New Mexico and Arizona through programming developed in conjunction with other regional officials that focuses on the needs of more isolated leagues and their staff. Her derby travels have taken her to various tournaments nationwide, including The Big O, Clover Cup and Monsoon Madness, where she spends her time learning from peers and mentors in effort to give back to the regional community she has been a part of for the last six years. This will be her first visit to Besterns and she looks forward to meeting and working with everyone involved.
