The RHS Choir National Anthem Corps is a group of volunteers who share their talents with the school and community as National Anthem performers. Members get to choose their performance dates and must be self-sufficient. This means they can get to the event on their own, or with parental help, contact the event organizer to let them know they're ready, set their own key, and flawlessly perform the National Anthem for the event. This is a great deal of responsibility but it can mean great things for the RHS Choir program as we make appearances at all kinds of events around Rockwall and beyond.
In order to join, you need to record yourself singing the National Anthem and submit at the form below. Your recording must be a video and it must show your face. Make sure you figure out and establish the key you will sing in before you sing. Do not ad lib in the song - sing it exactly as written. You must also do so from memory.
Once forms are turned in, each submission will be evaluated by RHS Choir directors and any student meeting the required standard of performance will earn a place in the corps. A meeting will follow with all the necessary information for scheduling and expectations.
