Student Google Meet Exepectations

• Be On Time

  • Wake up early and finish breakfast before class begins.

  • Log into class a few (2-3) minutes early.

  • Turn in all assignments by the due date.

• Be Prepared

  • Have all materials ready - including your headphones.

  • Turn your camera on.

  • Mute yourself when the teacher is talking or someone is speaking.

  • Be sure your device is charged.

• Camera Presence

  • Keep your camera on and still.

  • Sit up straight.

  • Dress appropriately.

  • Attendance is taken daily and live sessions are REQUIRED to be counted as present.

• Communication

  • Raise your hand to speak, wait for the teacher to call on you to unmute.

  • Speak clearly.

  • Look up when speaking.

  • Stay on topic.

  • Ask for help when needed.

• Participation

  • Be super focused.

  • Be an active participant.

  • Follow directions quickly.

• Be Respectful

  • Be respectful with your words, actions, and content.

  • Hold off on eating until class is over.

  • You should not be on other devices while class is in session.

• Your Learning Spot

  • Find a quiet place without distractions to join our sessions and complete your work.

  • Check your surroundings - our Live sessions may be recorded and can be viewed by your classmates, teachers, and principal.

• Remember

  • Whatever you post can be seen by all of your classmates, your teachers, and even your principal. Please make wise choices, even when you think no one is watching.
