Welcome!

As the School Counselor at Dennis B. O'Brien I have the pleasure of working with Students, Parents, Staff and outside agencies.

Each month brings a new Character Education lesson to your child's classroom focusing on topics such as decision making, respect, kindness, mindfulness, problem solving, etc.

Your child, their teacher or you can reach out regarding short-term counseling (not intensive therapy), peer relationships or school related concerns.

I facilitate Lunch groups to aid in building and strengthening peer relationships.

Outside therapy referrals are available upon request.

My other responsibilities include:

• Response to Intervention (RTI) Chair

• Section 504 Chair

• ABS (Anti-Bullying Specialist)

• Handle With Care trainer

• School Safety and Climate Team Chair

• Various committees
